Tween Book Club
Tween book club is for anyone ages 10-13. Read the book, then come to book club ready to discuss and snack (yum!)
*Special guests from the local roller derby team the Star Stompers will be at our kick-off meeting and discussion of Roller Girl!*

November 16th @ 3:45: The False Prince
December 14th @ 3:45: Theme- a 'retelling' of your choice. (A list is suggestions is available at the library.)
Are you a master trainer… or a beginner? All Pokémon fans in grades 3-8 are invited to Pokémon Club at the Coos Bay Public Library. Bring your cards to trade and battle. Don’t have cards? No worries--borrow a library deck!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten: A self-paced reading program designed to encourage you to read to your baby or toddler. As simple as it seems, reading to your child is the best way to give him or her a strong foundation for literacy and learning. Register at the library and we will help you track your progress. Tips for reading to your baby can be found here.
Storytime: Wednesdays @ 10:30
LEGO Club: 1st Tuesdays and 3rd Fridays @ 3:30
LEGOs are provided. Show off your creativity! Your creations will be displayed in the library for a month.
Furry Friends Book Club: 3rd Tuesdays @ 3:30
Read to a therapy dog (and possibly be licked by one). Call to reserve your spot.
